BDM Factory Pictures

Since factories can seem impersonal, we thought we'd display a few pictures from Brister's Design & Manufacturing (BDM) to show the personal touch.  Although you probably won't ever speak with any of these people (as your dealer will resolve any questions or problems you incur), if you own a BDM Chuck Wagon utility vehicle, they're the ones who are serving you, and they consider it an honor to do so.  These people are some of the most-respected in the industry, and are the brains and talent behind the superior Chuck Wagon.

Charles "Chuck" Brister, former President and CEO of BDM

Mr. Brister recently sold the company, and is no longer in a functioning role.

Brad Roberts is the Chief Financial Officer at BDM.  Of course, a CFO is essential to run a company.  The amazing thing is that Brad is a very likeable CFO, a trait not always found in that position.  Unlike most CFO's, Brad sometimes answers the phone ... customer service is a high priority at BDM, and Brad believes in taking care of their customers!  (Notice he's not wearing a suit -- Brad's not afraid to "roll up his sleeves" and work!)

Fred Carpenter, Customer Service Manager, Brister's Design and Mfg.  Fred is one of the reasons the business runs so smoothly;  his attitude toward customers simply can't be matched.  Fred is well-known and highly respected in the manufacturing industry.  He has worked with Chuck for many years, longer than almost anyone else.  He also has a good singing voice and sings in the choir at his church.

Brandon McElveen, Purchasing Manager, Brister's Design and Mfg. Brandon also handles warranty claims, and is in charge of problem resolution.  Brandon diligently researches any potential problem to find a quick resolution and to prevent it from re-occurring.  Brandon's extensive knowledge of manufacturing procedures is one of the reasons failure rates for BDM's Chuck Wagons are so low.

Glen Kreko is in charge of parts at Brister's Design and Mfg.  His efficiency, extensive parts knowledge, concern for the customer, and dedication to the company is why BDM dealers get parts so quickly.  (In all fairness to Glen, Brandon snuck up on him to get this picture.)  Glen met Chuck years ago on a nearby lake, and went to work for him shortly thereafter.

Pat handles orders, functions as receptionist, coordinates shipping, and usually answers the phone at BDM, all without having to wear roller skates!  But don't be surprised if you call BDM and it's not Pat -- it could be Brad or Fred or anyone else -- they don't let the phone ring more than twice!

The BDM plant is a modern facility designed to produce the best utility vehicles in the world!  It has been recently renovated, and is an example in cleanliness, technology, and efficiency for other plants to follow.

Even though the plant is modern, some things -- such as welding -- need to be performed by humans, not robots.  Highly skilled, certified welders weld the frames at BDM, using modern MIG welders.  (Don't ever watch someone weld -- it can seriously damage your eyes -- but it's okay to look at this picture.)

Factories and companies are made of people.  This picture shows what kind of people work at BDM.  (Cross-dressers?  No, people who care about other people.)  This man (whom we won't identify) is a manager at BDM, and was willing to look silly for an evening to raise money for cancer research.  So, when you're enjoying your BDM Chuck Wagon, remember that one of the people responsible for the quality of your utility vehicle cares enough to give up his personal time (and dignity!) to help find a cure for those with such a dreaded disease.  (When he's not dressed in drag, he's really an extremely macho, handsome man.  He also has a good sense of humor, as he allowed us to publish this picture.  Could he be elsewhere on this page?  Possibly!)
